Christmas Favorites

First of all, thanks so much for checking out the Becoming Little Readers book lists! Your support means a lot to me, and you’re the reason I’m sharing these things. I hope I can encourage you to read on and inspire the little readers in your own home! If you decide to purchase one of these items, would you do us a favor and purchase from the links in this post? It doesn’t cost you anything extra, but we get a small payment from that to keep things going around here! Your support keeps the book love coming, and it means the world. Thank YOU!

That’s Not My Snowman, That’s Not My Reindeer, That’s Not My Elf – These are darling little board books for infants and toddlers, and WE LOVE THESE! The pages are super sturdy, and the touchy feely elements & bright colors make these a favorite for Kit!

Construction Site on Christmas Night – If you have a kiddo that loves heavy machinery, snow, and surprises…this is the book for them! A great story with a lot of heart. It was even fun for me to read (and you know how sometimes that’s not the case with children’s books). Rhyming phrases and beautiful illustrations!

Christmas in the Manger – Short and sweet board book that illustrates the real meaning of the holiday. Perfect for younger children!

Very First Christmas Carols – This is a board book aimed at young children, BUT this book is something I can see us using for years and years and years. Sturdy pages with great illustrations and all the carols you know and love. I envision us reading and singing this book together throughout the entire Christmas season. Plus, this book is a major steal for the price!

The Story of Baby Jesus – Talk about gorg-eous illustrations. I just love this book! This one would be great for children of any age, in my opinion, and it beautifully tells the story of the birth of Jesus. I can see us reading this each year on Christmas morning.

I’ll be adding to this list as we get more books, so make sure to check back!
